"Cotton Twill Patchwork Tote"

For the Bazaar I created another style of Tote Bags.
I cut many colors of Cotton Twill into postcard size, and Patchworked.
Two styled Tote Bags are lined with Black Cotton Satin.
These are perfect for every use for the New Season.

"KINU GASURI Tote Bags"

It is Fall.
That means The Buddhist Church Upper West Side will be having "Autumn Festival"
It is happening this weekend.  This will be my 5th time to join the event.
I have been making Tote Bags with japanese Textiles.
For this fall I'm using Vintage "KINU-GASURI"  Means Silk Ikat.  I found coordinate Fabrics to make Grocery Bags.  Which is bigger than regular Tote Bags.  I think this style is perfect for Farmers' Market or Supermarket.  Even Though it is Silk Bags it meant to use everydays.
After all Kasuri Textiles are made for casual every day kimono, when it was very popular  in Old Japan.  Hope people will enjoy using them much as I had fun making them.

"TEMARI"

The Collection of Embroidered Silk Sphere

These intricate and extraordinarily beautiful embroidered silk balls are a form of Japanese folk art called "TEMARI" which means hand ball in Japanese.
These particular temaris are even more impressive because they are handmade by 92 years old Japanese grandmother in Japan.
