I went to the MET to see this exhibition once in June, right after it opened.
By the time I finished taking photos of half of the show my camera's battery had run out. So when I found out that it will close on Labor Day Weekend, I had to go back to finish recording the show.
This show was perfect to see how fashion has improved with the New Technology at the time. There are many dresses, jackets, and coats I could see up close. You could only see some of the remarkable items in fashion history books and catalogs.
The number and range of garments was simply impressive to see in one space at one time. This could be my 2nd favorite fashion exhibition I've seen at the MET, after the McQueen's Retrospective Show a few years ago.
Now the show is over I feel it is necessary to show what you could see at this great fashion exhibition at the MET. Here are the photos of downstairs exhibition spaces. Yes, it took 2 floors of special spaces for this huge collection of fashion.
If you would like to see other half of the same show click below. That will conclude my whole record of the show.

I wonder if you can tell
which are from 19 century and which are from only a few years ago.
When I came out from the show there was something going on .
Soon enough I found out that Ms. Anna Wintour was signing catalogs of the show. After all she was responsible of this great show. I think she was happy to see so many people were willing to wait on the long line to get her autograph while carrying a very big not cheap catalogs of the show.
So sorry these photos are out of focus.
But I think you can feel the atmosphere of the big hall, can't you ?
