"Holiday Morning at MET"

Hope you all had a great Holiday Weekend.
I love being in New York for Big Holiday Weekends.  I found that the city is very quiet and many places are not too crowded specially when we have great weather. Even though I don't like to go to Museums for Holidays and weekends, I decided to go to the Metropolitan Museum with Jonathan to see New Fashion Exhibition "MANUS x MACHINA  Fashion in an Age of Technology"
There were so many great clothes from the past, including pieces from the 19th century to present.  It was a very nicely mounted show.  If you are a fashionista you must go there to see what was happened, and is going to happen in the fashion scene for coming years.
Even if you are not, I can guarantee you will have a good time.

Here are some of photos I took in the special space the Met gave to the Fashion.
If you need to know who and which house created those fabulous fashions, I guess you need to find out them by yourself at the MET.   Just remember to go there early, not at middle of the day.  We went there late morning.  And the place was not too bad. Lines to get tickets were short.
By the time we were ready to leave, the great hall was so crowded.  The lines were formed to enter to the galleries.

I need to go back there to take pictures of the displays after my camera's battery died. And some of  the fashions are well worth for me to doing so.
One of the rooms is filled with dresses and jackets almost like mock-ups for real things.  And some of them are made to look like mock-ups.  I need to have a record of that room.  So. I may post more pictures from this great show at the MET.
By the way, taking photos is permitted if you don't use flash. I thought you may have wanted to know .
