Pope Francis calls for the creation of a "Civil Union" for same-sex couples !

In a documentary, Pope Francis calls for the creation of a civil union for same-sex couples.  Homosexuals "have the right to have a family," pleads the pontiff. 

Same-sex couples must be "legally protected."  What we have to do is a civil union, Pope Francis said in a preview documentary in Rome.  This position clearly contrasts with the teaching of the Church until then.

In this documentary, Francesco, the Pope grants an interview to the director, Evgeny Afineevsky.  He asserts that "Homosexuals have the right to be a part of the Catholic family.  They are children of God and have the right to have families.  No one should be excluded or made miserable because of this," he insists.
