" Thierry Mugler's Creation "

and you remember this music video featured Mugler's Runway Show.
George Michael - Too Funky (Official Video)

" Manfred Thierry Mugler, December 21, 1948 ~ January 23, 2022 "

We lost another fashion icon yesterday.
I knew he was a good looking designer since 70s.
You may know many memorable dresses and men's suits
covered many famous people through the years.
But you may not know he was a quite a hunk himself from the beginning.

" A Poster for the Year of Tiger "

"Tiger Masks" by Jonathan P. F.

" The Southan New Year Supper "

Yesterday late afternoon, just about to prepare dinner, the doorman buzzed us.
Dear friends J & L dropped a carebag filled with Traditional Southern Foods.
They throw a New Year's Party every year.
Of course this year was challenging to keep the tradition.
But lucky us, they brought them to us.
What a Pleasant Surprise !

Hours later we were so full.
There were only a few slices of Ham left on the table.
This was another great way to start our 2022.
Thank You Very Much, J & L !!

" OSECHI for Two "

The New Year starts with OSECHI every year for us.
Every year we celebrate New Year with friends over these traditional Japanese foods.
Last year couldn't do it, as you well know.
We were hoping to do it this year 2022,
but again we had to cancel the plan by rapid spreading of OMICRON.
So we did start the New Year with just two of us.
Japanese Tradition will live on in Manhattan...

After OSECHI we finished with ZONI.
Which is Roasted MOCHI or Pounded Sticky Rice Cake in a seafood broth
with Fish-Cake, Daikon Radish, Shiitake, and Japanese Leek.

It was scaled down "OSECHI & ZONI".
But I still shopped & cooked for the 2 days before January 1st.
I sincerely hope, I'll be able to do it with friends next year.
