" Big Loss "

"Being gay is a natural normal beautiful variation of being human.  Period.  End of subject.  Therefore, any argument which says differently is an immoral supremacist one.  Call it out as such...  Be outrage, offended, angry and intolerant of any discussion or any one who describes you as unequal,
undeserving or unnatural for being just as you are."
Larry Kramer

Larry Kramer, a playwright and gay HIV activist, passed away today at age 84 of Covid-19-induced pneumonia. Kramer was a legendary activist who co-founded the Gay Men’s Health Crisis, an organization devoted to helping people living with HIV and AIDS. In 1987 he helped co-found ACT-UP, a direct action organization focused on changing the public health reaction to HIV and public perception of people living with the virus.

" Sunday Lunch "

One of my go-to breakfasts is "A hole in the middle"
But, that became part of lunch today.
I started making lunch very late, so I had to make it quickly and filling.
I had a perfectly ripened avocado on the kitchen table,
and I could make it into a topping for another toast.
Two slices of Japanese White Bread with
an Egg and Mashed Avocado became a Hearty Lunch.

I needed some extra kick for Avocado Toast...

" Fennel & Orange Salad "

I usually don't make a menu, starting with Salad.
Unless some fresh favorite vegetable comes to our kitchen.

Today is one of those days.
Fennel was looking so good.
One Good Orange is only one more thing to make a delicious salad.
The dressing is Dijon Mustard, Olive Oil, and Orange Juice,
which I saved when I was sectioning orange to add to salad at the last minute.
And if you happen to have it, Shaved Parmesan Cheese can be add to it.

< Complete Dinner Menu >
Quinoa with Corn, Edamame, and Shallots.
Oven Roasted Pork Loin with sauce,
which is made from Pan Juices.

Bon Appetit !

No Sewing, No Pressing, the easiest way to make a Face Mask.
You just can't go out with it.
This will not do any good for Covid-19.

So, let's get busy to make masks with good cotton.
We will need them for long time.

" Better Late Than Never..."

Art by Jonathan Fischer.

May 5th is " Boys Day " in Japan.
It started to pray for boys in families to grow healthy and have successful life.
KOI or Carp is the symbol of that.
Every family who has boys are displaying Wind Streams of KOI.

It is May 6th.
But as I titled this post, it is better to be late than never.

"Happy Boys Day !" Everybody...
