" 桜吹雪(花吹雪) or Cherry Blossoms Blizzard in Japan "

"Hana Fubuki" literally means "Cherry Blossom Blizzard"

and marks the end of cherry blossom season.

It is one of "Hanami(Blossom Viewing)'s" most beautiful sights.

At the end of Sakura Season cities' pavements became pink carpets.

Along with watching pink petals fall from trees.

those carpets will become the best part of "Hanmi"

Yoshinoyama, Nara, Japan.

About 200 species and over 30,000 Cherry Trees will bloom every Spring.

I was there once a long time ago, but I still remember how beautiful that was.

Hope to go there again in some Spring.

I hard from friends in Japan that SAKURs are opening there.

That means we will have those Pink Flowers in a month.

Usually we are 1 month behind.

We couldn't do "HANAMI or Flower Blossom Viewing" last Spring due to pandemic.

But this year, I think we will be able to do 

with small group of friends who are vaccinated.

Shall we start making plans for it ?

What we got for sweet-company ?

" Curry UDON "

Whenever I decided to make Japanese Style Curry I make it in a large pot.

And it will make at least 3~4 meals for 2~3 people.

Believe it or not, "Curry" is a very popular dish in Japan. 

We have it year around at restaurants or at home.

It is different from Indian Style Curry.

It's more like British Brown Gravy with Veggies & choice of Protein.

Many families have their own secret to make it special.

Some people add Banana or Apple to it.

Mine is to add some Japanese ingredients like KONNYAKU, LOTUS-ROOTS.

And we alway had "Curry Udon" with very last of that pot.

It is a perfect dish for Cold Winter Days like today....
