" Novelty Bags from TENUGUI "

I was given more than a few TENUGUI (or Japanese Cotton Hand Cloth) from friends.  I decided to use them to make bags before summer is over, after all those TENUGUIs are all cotton and mainly white background with prints on them.
Some of them became simple Tote-Bags, others became what I call "Grocery Bags."  Just because those TENUGUI had specific prints, they needed to be cut only sideways.  After finding some combination fabrics to add at the bottom I put lining to make bags to be durable for heavy shoppings.
Here are 6 Grocery Bags for you to see.....

< CATS & FULL MOON >
Two Black Cats are strolling in full moon night.

< KURONEKO YAMATO or YAMATO BLACK CATS >
This was the promotional TENUGUI from the YAMATO Transport INC.
Two black cats is the company logo

< TAIYO WA NOBORU or SUN WILL RISE >
This was a promotional TENUGUI for a Japanese singer.
Whole lyrics of "TAIYO WA NOBORU" was printed.

< HAWAIIAN BON ODORI >
A scene at "BON ODORI or BON Dance" in Hawaii was printed.

< MORIOKA NOODLES >
Another Promotional TENUGUI.  This one was for Morioka-city, Japan.
The city has 3 famous must-try noodle dishes.

< KABUKIZA or KABUKI THEATER >
This TENUGUI is probably available only at shop in KABUKI-ZA in Tokyo.
A sketch of the whole building from front was printed.

These all 6 Bags are one of a kind.
All lined, 100% Cotton it means they are Washable.
